Guys can an expert please make a summary how are chances stand in next round with all the results from the first round? Do I get it correctly that we only play top 4 of group A and carry over our results against our group D teams?

here is the standing right now (assuming USA will beat Italy 3-0)

Poland 9
France 7
Serbia 6
Iran 5
USA 4
Argentina 3
Italy 2
Australia 0

we have to beat Australia and Argentina to stand a chance. with those 6 pts, even if we lose to Poland, we will have a live or die last round match against Serbia. I think it's between 5 countries for 3 spots. I see no chance for Argentina and Australia and also Italy.

to be honest the path clear Australia and Argentina are must wins... Poland would be a sweet victory and we have shown in world league that we can beat them (3:0)!!! Nevertheless a win against Serbia is vital if we leave out Poland game!! Volleyball is actually very fun to watch to be honest. Much more fun than basketball if you ask me!

The good thing is the 3rd and 4th from group D are the US and Italy, this makes things tough for Poland and Serbia's first two games.

I can understand you like hockey, but the ball in very small and very fast, the visibility isn't ideal.

And it gets less coverage because it is a sport for a small amount of country in the world (and generally rich ones). I rate sports that can be played by most of the world and without being rich higher.

I can understand you like hockey, but the ball in very small and very fast, the visibility isn't ideal.

And it gets less coverage because it is a sport for a small amount of country in the world (and generally rich ones). I rate sports that can be played by most of the world and without being rich higher.

It's not a ball it is called a puck. It's fast paced, skilled, physical and easy to learn. Many poorer nations have hockey teams (e.g., Belarus)...and unlike other sports that have out of bounds and stoppages for play going out...hockey has far less due to the enclosed boards...

Visibility isn't an issue at all. My wife didn't know what hockey was and now it is her favourite sport despite playing vball all of her life and at a very high level. Give hockey a fair chance!

I meant cold countries. It is not an olympic sport to me, i mean it is not played by most part of the planet : africa, most of asia, most of south america, south of europe... you can find a very small amount of people in these countries but still they are an exception
