AS Monaco was in Ligue 2 only few seasons ago. They bounced back thanks to big big money from a Russian, so it's not that the French league is that strong. But honestly the Premier League is overrated as fuck, all English teams have lost so far (except Chelsea). I think only Chelsea will make it through the next round.

Not big money this season, Other teams chip them Falcao, and James Rodriguez. Today they played with almost a B team against Arsenul with some important players missings.

Chelsea is very lucky to escape with a 1/1 draw last week.

Fvck overrated and oversvcked EPL.

Arsenal and other EPL teams (newcastle the latest example) spend their time to deplete french league since 20 years and say it is a sh1tty league after! Now french league doesn't produced very good players, they buy some average Giroud Kocielny, Debuchy and we see the results.

French league is one of the biggest talent producers without a doubt..... it just fails to keep its players as it seems that most of them play in EPL.

Monaco like PSGman mentioned has been majorly depleted compared to last season.

France is also a huge producer of african talents (some who play for their african countries, some for france. )

This is why I prefer Bundesliga. It's very competitive from top to bottom with the exception of bayern. But all the other teams like Wolfsburg, leverkusen, dortmund schalke etc etc do great things and produce many of their own players with a much smaller budget. Wolfsburg is on fire and Will become a powerhouse if they don't loose their players.

well they get picked apart too like serie a, ligue 1, la liga...anywhere...and thats the problem. less comeptition at the big stage cuz they dont let any team keep their players

yea it must suck for fans of these teams to keep losing their players. these english teams are getting way too much money from tv deals. right now due to technology and access to so many outlets on the internet and media, there is so much money out there rather than 10 years ago and before it. if these things were around back in serie A glory days, the league would've never fall off. unfortunately now we'll be seeing more of premier league teams taking up players left and right from other leagues in the coming years. the bottom table EPL teams make more money from tv than 1st place bundesliga, serie, ligue 1, etc....basically only barca and real prob make more than them cuz the tv money deal in spain is mostly going to them 2 rather than split between all the teams

Holy crap what a crazy game Feyenoord - AS Roma was, the Italians were lucky not to lose the game. Feyenoord fought like lions and totally got screwed by the loser French referee.

Dude I am loving Wolfsburg. Benaglio, Rodriguez, Gustavo, Veirinha, Perisic, Schurrle, De Bruyne, Dost... they are killing it right now. All they need is Ashkan to come back lol.
