HH has signed a year contract with a team in China basketball League. supposedly he had a offer from Real Madrid in Spain League but choice to go for money in China league.

به گزارش خبرنگار ورزشی خبرگزاری فارس، حامد حدادی که عملکرد خوبی در جام جهانی 2014 بسکتبال داشت و مورد توجه تیم های اروپایی هم قرار گرفته بود، سرانجام در همان لیگ بسکتبال چین ماندنی شد.

حدادی که فصل گذشته در تیم سیچوآن بازی می*کرد و با این تیم نتوانست به مرحله پلی*آف صعود کند، به تازگی و برای فصل جدید با تیم شینگ دائو قرارداد بست.

ملی پوش بسکتبال ایران در جریان رقابت های جام جهانی مورد توجه رئال مادرید هم قرار گرفته بود و در این مسابقات دومین ریباندر برتر جام لقب گرفت.

Iranian basketball I fear has had it's best days already. The program is rebuilding and it may be a while before we really do much and get players even considered for NBA...

haddadi was our best chance but he was too k00n goshaad to take advantage of his chances. he failed to learn much being next to gasol and randolph. he didnt bulk up. still made stupid fouls and silly mistakes and didnt utilize his great jump shot ability that no centers have anymore. he really could've become great but just didnt have the same mentallity as players like yao ming.

i do not know how true this is, maybe someone can tell me, i was told some of the laziest people in iran are the Khouzestani people, as soon as they reach a height in life, they stop working and trying?!? have you guys also heard this?!?
HH had a golden opportunity to really open the doors for other basketball players, he was our "trailblazer" in the nba, but he really went off track and never adjusted to the nba game. you would think under the shadow of ZBow and Gasol he would flourish into a decent backup center, but he still players basketball the same way he did 6-8 years ago. to me his game did not significantly improve since moving to nba.
any thoughts?

Come on guys, he is pretty old now. And many many americans go to the chinese league. There is even a player who was set to be a top draft prospect who went to a chinese team straight from highschool.

This is different to football. You can't be mad at him for going to China, european basketball is very good but its not like European football for us to be upset that HH didn't go there. China isn't like Qatar of football.

yea absolutely. he improved verrrry little. it was as if he slept those 4 years and didnt bother to watch how the game goes and how gasol and zbo operate. i mean gasol improved more than he did. from the game i saw him live here in LA and sometimes seeing him on the bench, it looked like hes not really paying attention to the game and his mind is somewhere else. after all u cant blame a guy being raised in iran and coming to all this success and girls and money in US...he was bound to party and not develop his game. its such a shame cuz he had everything going for him. nba was weak in center positions and he had the best facilities and trainers to help him. i mean its not hard to bulk up....just takes a month or two under the right trainer. his problem was discipline.
