Rostami was in first after the Snatch (172kg). The Chinese guy who won gold only snatched 163kg. Rostami opened with a 208 c/j, then missed 212 twice. The Chinese guy went for 218 on his last attempt to jump Rostami for the gold and he hit it. If Rostami went for 210 on his c/j instead of 212, he would have made it much harder for the Chinese guy. Interesting thing is since Rostami weighed in heavier than the Chinese, the Chinese only needed 217kg for gold but coaches screwed up and he went for 218. Got it anyways..Comment

What a game and what a performance, iran comes from behind to beat phillipines yet again! 66-63. Samed came up big scoring our last 6 points!! Great performance we showed we are still the beat in Asia despte the phillipines pulling a qatar an naturalizing players. Bacheha mochakerim!Comment

At least 2-3 of phillipines players seem to be foreigners.
Also Iran is a much better team in terms of talent but 2 main issues made the game so close.
1- too many turnovers.
2- missing free throws.

16 weight classes in wrestling to compete in. i guess iran has only 14 wrestlers.
10 medals in wrestling 4 years ago. 7 gold. this will be the mark to beat although it might not be realistic. sourian is not in from what i know and nourozi is injured. thats 2 certain gold up in the air right now...Comment

I just saw some pictures from our volleyball match. Seems like new players are being used, this is good, especially for preparing for the Olympics! A good thing about these Asian Games.Comment
