note that we lost three bronze-medal matches in judo.. our handball which was a silver last time is likely not to advance this time.

I just saw some pictures from our volleyball match. Seems like new players are being used, this is good, especially for preparing for the Olympics! A good thing about these Asian Games.

no no new players. same as previously just those that used to be on bench are playing. mahdavi, ebadipour, tashakori all played fixed and they always get some time even with our best playing

Moulaei is playing it safe since he's injured. He's no where close to Bronze medal after snatch attempts have been done.

Salimi has basically already won it. After his 1st lift, the commentator said, Salimi is so far ahead of anyone that it's not even funny.

So he went for 200kg to start. 210 to beat his previous Asian Games records. Then he went for 215 to beat his world record of 214 but failed. Anyhow he's got a huge lead. Let's see what he does Clean & Jerk. He looks like he wants to win in style breaking records. Hope he can.
