You have to keep in mind that most nations with more medal than us, do also have more participants than us. North Korea does only have 150 participants and they have as many gold medals as us. But then again, team sports have more participants so it's not that black/white either

Salimi won gold in his weight class. Don't know what happened to Molaei. He didn't finish. He was so promising last time at the World championship.. What a shame..

Wow Hosseinkhani and Rahimi messed up so bad. This is the Asian games not the world championships, for them to lose to such lesser opponents is very embarrassing. Neither one finished with a medal and the federation was hoping for a medal for almost all of the weight classes. Already 0 for 2 in the first 2 weight classes. Our freestyle is looking pretty bad after finishing without a single gold in the world championships and already 0 for 2 in this easy Asian games.

Iran just added a silver via Leila Rajabi in the women's shot put who is from Belarus but is a naturalised Iranian and converted Muslim after marrying an Iranian.
