i don't get why FILA doesn't take a closer look at the horrendous refereeing in its sport. this is literally the worst and most corrupt other than perhaps boxing, and is prime reason for elimination from the olympics in the next round when it goes up for voting.

the saddest part? abdevali is completely right.. people will forget all these injustices and it will come down to the medal. i mean, even in this thread there are people who don't know or remember him being cheated in london 2012. in 6 months time no one will remember this, only that he got a bronze. poor guy..

i hope he gets gold in rio.

Looks like the 4 remaining greco roman iranian wrestlers are all fighting for bronze later today.

In less than an hour, Iran will face Kazakhstan in Basketball. The other semi is Japan-Korea. Iran-Korea will most likely be the final.

Also at the same time will be Iran vs. Kuwait in volleyball quarter finals. Should be an easy ass kicking. They will face China in the semis once they advance. Volleyball final will be Iran vs. Korea most likely.

Doubting Japan vs. Korea since they're the hosts but they will face a tough challenge against Iran who should win both golds for both sports but basketball gold medal will be a tough one for Iran. Korea have been playing some great basketball and are high on confidence in their home soil.

Oh and I almost forgot. Mahdi Khodabakhshi just beat Maksim Rafalovich in gold medal taekwondo.

Interestingly, Maksim is the brother of yesterday's 74kg finalist who lost to Iran's Hajizavareh last night.

I'm still not over of the injustice that took place yet again to Abdevali. There should be NO respect given to the judge or wrestler? If that Korean wrestler had any sense of morality and righteousness, he would've refused to accept the win. Like what happened to London, I'm confident the Iranian federation will reward Abdevali with the earnings of receiving a gold medal. Abdevali is a true champion. I truly believe we go through our trials and when Rio comes around, all the injustices that have taken place will be answered with Abdevali winning the gold.

Again we got screwed in less than 24 hours after they fucked Abdevali. They fucked us over in the 66kg, 85kg and the 130kg. In the 66kg the Korean was running and closing his stance and doing absolutely no offensive moves but they cautioned Byababgard instead and give the Korean parterre and he scored off it and won the match. For the remainder of the match he was so passive but he never got warned.

In the 130 kg Babajanzadeh faced the only good wrestler in this weight who was the Kazakh. The Kazakh wrestler was so extremely passive but instead they warned Babajanzadeh twice which means an automatic 1 point for the other guy. So the Kazakh 'beat' Babajanzadeh 1-0 off the single point from the 2 warning. It was absolutely bullshit, the Kazakh was so passive but unlike for us Iranians the ref didn't punish him by giving him 2 warnings. It was so obvious that they wanted the Iranian wrestler to lose.

The worst injusitce today happened in the 85kg to karimfar. This guy was owning this piece of shit Korean wrestler and it was 5-1 with less than a minute left. They had already given Karimfar 2 cautions over absolutely nothing. The guy was clearly dominating this Korean and this Korean had nothing he could do to win it unless ofcourse the refrees cheated for the Koreans. This is exactly what they did. They used the excuse of an accidental head butt to give Karimfar his third warning which means automatic disqualification. It looked literally as the match started that they were going to rob Iran again. It was so blatant I cant even explain it. How they get away with this is unbelievable. What they did to Karimfar is perhaps even more blatant and outrageous than the way they robbed Abdevali. Literally this Korean garbage had no chance at all in beating Karimfar other than disqualification and this is exactly what they gave him.

Honestly fuck FILA and fuck these beghyrat Korean wrestlers. Korean is trying to make sure they beat Japan which they have historically hated and the refs are doing everything in their power to give Korea undeserved medals so they can pad their medal count and finish ahead of Japan. We just got robbed 3 times against them in the span of 1 day. We got robbed at every major wrestling tournament and sadly this has really become the norm. It is a collective effort to fuck with our wrestlers any time they can.
