he competed in karate in asian games on the last day i believe. i've been trying to find video/more info about this. all the iranian newspapers keep writing about it but no one says what actually happened. it seems he was doing well, then had a controversial decision against him which made him lose the semifinal, but then he reacted poorly and was actually disqualified from the tourny, therefore losing his shot at bronze as well? the karate federation head has said that he didn't react professionally and it seems most people blame him himself for losing his cool, but anyone have the full story or video?

in Karate we had no TV coverage for preliminary rounds (only for the final) so there is no video. and I think you already told us the story.

from what I heard from people in stadium the officiating was fine in general but there was only "probably" only one mistake ,they gave 3pts to Japan in a controversial decision. if I'm not wrong the score was 4-4 before that and that decision gave the match to Japan. Ganjzadeh was also mad on his coach because he used his video check earlier in the match and could not protest this decision.
