I think the biggest reason as to why we lost to Bosnia was because of the long range shot of Dzeko. Our defense was fantastic, and the only way to break us was from range (Just like what Messi toolesag did). After that we were under tremendous stress(like everyone else mentioned) and had to come out of our shell to play a game we weren't designed for.

Let's get a few things straight here about Bosnia, now and during the world cup.
Bosnia was NOT a poor team at the world cup. They gave Argentina a very good run and were actually unlucky to not get a point. And while we definitely could have done better against them than we did, it was always going to be a close call. In Dzeko they have a player worth as much on the transfer market as our whole squad combined! That's just a cold hard fact. When you add the likes of Pjanic and Ibisevic to the mix, they had just as much right to expect to win as we did. And I still think if Dzeko hadn't scored that early the outcome could have been different.
As for their current form, the first loss was a complete fluke against the run of play and their tie at Wales was against a very decent team. Wales with Gareth Bale is no slouch, and BH were actually unlucky to not get all three points at cardif. I was very impressed watching them.

First, I don't see how anyone here "idolized" Bosnia. Acknowledging their improvement is no different than pointing out that Wales right now is also a much improved side compared to previous years.
As for football history, Bosnia and Croatia were part of Yugoslavia's football apparatus. They had a decent football tradition prior to independence. Croatia even made the semi-finals of the World Cup just three years after a bloody civil war.
No matter how you slice it, this Bosnian team is by no means a weak side and their performance against Argentina and just this week against Bale's Welsh team showed exactly that. They also have a much better generation of players than before. This ain't the Bosnia of a few years ago. I do agree that we should absolutely finish top 4 with CQ at the Asian Cup, but let's not get carried away with this "we beat them in a friendly 4 years ago so we should always beat them" logic.
