    • FC Barcelona Fan Thread

    Hola Cules!

I thought now that the Real Madrid fan thread have been active lately, we should open a fan thread for the Blaugranes! There was an old thread from 2006 with over 300 pages, but I thought it would be nice with a clean up to date thread!

    Champions League
We are in the quarterfinales, playing PSG tonight.

    La Liga
We are topping the table with 2 point ahead of Real but with some difficult remaining matches like Valencia, Atletico, Espanyol and Sociedad.

    Copa Del Rey
We are in the final against Bilbao and the match is being played on Camp Nou. This is going to be a tough match like it always is when the Basques are meeting the Catalonians.

        FT. PSG 1-3 Barca

3 really good goals, especially the two from Suarez! It should't be difficult to get through to the semifinals on Camp Nou with this result.

Fact: Goal nr. 400 for FCBarcelona in Champions League was scored by Suarez

PSG is out. Without Ibra they can't make it. Also Bayern without Ribery & Robben lost but they will come back. I would like to see a Bayern Barca final.

Yeah, it should be a done deal.. Just a shame that Mathieu made that own goal. I know it wasn't his fault, but I prefer Bartra instead of Mathieu as CB..

                KeepersDeffendersVermaelen, Douglas, Montoya

Midfielders: Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Sergi Roberto, Rakitic, Rafinha, Iniesta, Mascherano

Strikers: Pedro, Luis Suarez, Leo Messi, Neymar Jr.,

Yes you saw it, Vermaelen is in the squad for todays Champions League match against PSG. Hopefully this unlucky chap gets his first appearence for the Blaugranes!

So the semifinals have been drawn and it's a tough one..

                  Barcelona - Bayern

                  Juventus - Real Madrid

Bayern and Real Madrid have the home advantage in the last match. History have shown that 72% of the teams who have the last match at home, will go through.. So Barca and Juventus have the statistics against them.
It's a shame that the two best teams are meeting in the semifinal. Real are always lucky with their semifinal draw..

Can't believe Barcelona fans have the audacity to claim so nonchalantly that they are better than Real Madrid at the moment, cause of doing better for the past months in the league while Real Madrid has had so many injuries. I would say the teams are pretty much on the same level right now, but with full squads I would give the slight edge to Real Madrid. If they meet again, anything can happen.

                        Well..
                        * Barca is in the Cup final, Real is not and that gives Barcelona a tougher schedule.
                        * Barca is first in La Liga
                        * Barca is in the Champions League and have beaten stronger opponents than Real
                        * Barca won the last El Classico

I agree with you, that they are on pretty much the same level but Barcelona's performance have just been better so far. But I guess it can all change very quickly.. Bayern is going to be a tough nut to crack

I can agree with that. Real has not been in their best shape these last months, I hope all the players recover so we can get back on top form again.

It's gonna be a interesting match tonight. I don't think Barca has ever won in Allianz Arena in Champions League. My guess is a draw but Barca are in a good streak and Bayern is in a bad streak. Keeping the result from 2 seasons ago in mind, it will still be a tough match which could go either way

congrats but what's the point when clubs shuffle players and just bankroll a winning team?
