Dos Santos has a minor niggle and wont be risked today. However Saudis got a major blow as it appears young star Mohammed al-Anbar has got a serious injury in training and will probably miss all of the World Cup.

            >When Bahrain paraded with a Saudi Flag i didn't see any arabs shouting go Iran...

Prejudice has blinded you. I find it really strange how much hate I see by people like you towards arabs when, as the original poster said, most of them are cheering for your team and your players. For God's sake, I remember people in Bahrain praying their hearts out that Iran win against Australia in that decisive qualifying match many years ago.

And did you ever stop and think who those two imported Bahraini players were waving the Saudi flag towards? Bahrainis, yes Bahrainis, of Persian ancestry who were there supporting Iranian players! They got all kind of crap from the media but they were there nonetheless.

Can't you just cheer for Asia so that we get more respect and hopefully more seats in the future and forget your petty grudges.

Well done Saudi. Pretty shameful performance by Tunisia. Took some grit to get that late goal though.

Horrible World Cup for Africa so far, just as expected. I warned for over a year, even on these message boards, that the backwards African quailfying system will yield some undeserving World Cup teams.

That said, hopefully Ivory Coast and Ghana at least are not done yet.

                            Yes, I'm Egyptian

That is indeed Gamal Abdel Nasser.

ezayak? sorry I misspelled the name...now looking at it I spelled it as Jamal meaning Camel...I like Egyptians alot esp. Anwar Al-Sadat....I know Abdel Nasser was great for some Egyptians, but not a great fan since he was the one who said we will make it all Arab's nations from Syria to Iraq (meaning Iran too ) and change the name of Khalij al-Farsi to khalij Al-Arabi....
but I like the rest of Egyptians......ahlan

No problem with the name. ana kwayes ezzayak enta ? Abdel Nasser had no problems what-so-ever with Iranians. Did you know that his wife was 100% Iranian ? Very smart, educated woman who's family had business in Egypt. Nasser wanted to stop the imperialist influence the west was having on Egypt and the Middle East as a whole, from the creation of the artificial modern state of Israel, to the thirst for Middle Eastern oil. He led a revolution and military coup that kicked the British out of Egypt for good and ended the monarchy under the corrupt King Farouk. He actually had a horrible relationship with Saudi and Arab leaders from the Gulf until King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Part of his goal was to unite the entire Arab world, even though Egypt isn't as "Arab". His goal was political, and meant for the benefit of the nations in the region, and his goal was to include Iran in this new Middle East order. His vision, in his own words, was to, "Have breakfast in Cairo, lunch in Jerusalem, and dinner in Tehran".
