    Did Iman Jamali betray Iran?!!

I didn't see him play for Iran in the handball world cup and on his Wiki page it says he represents Hungary: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iman_Jamali

On his Persian wiki page it says he represents Iran.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

He got his Hungarian passport a few months ago. Some papers in Iran said he faked his injury so that he wouldn't have to play for Iran in the world cup. I don't think he has ever played for Iran's senior team, so it is likely that he is planning to play for Hungarian national team.

It's his choice for him to do what he wants. Why do you say he "betrayed" Iran? We don't know any of the reasons why he chose to do what he did. It might be political, economical or for the safety of his family. The same things were said about Dejagah when he didn't commit to TM and people called him names.

This guy was born and bred in Iran, has Iranian blood. For what reason should he represent a country he has no connection to and only lived there for a few years?

Well, the Hungarian flag looks pretty similar to the iranian, maybe it was an honest mistake? BTW, it's removed from facebook, I don't think you should worry about it

he played for Iran senior NT in 2010 and 2012 Asian Championship, in 2010 he got injured badly against KSA in second round and was out for a year, and in 2012 he was alone since other key players boycotted the team.

but he didn't play in 2014 Asian Championship, 2014 Asian Games and 2015 World Cup always with injury excuses. people doubt his injury specially for the first tournament in February 2014. he was indeed injured for 2015 World Cup

absolute nonsense. he still comes to Iran for his holidays,

if he one day plays for Hungary, that's only because Hungary is a better team and he believes he has more chance for success with Hungary. even though Hungary failed to even qualify for the World Cup. but they finished 4th in London Olympics.

Ah, OK. He must have been 17 then when he first played for our senior team!! Is there the same law as football in handball that once a player plays for senior team of a country he can't play for another country??

I just want to see him representing Iran. His successes don't mean much to us if he doesn't serve his country.
