Russia definitely is chanceless, but as others mentioned earlier they're probs going to fight for survival in Azadi if they don't win the USA match. The team that finishes last in Group 1 (Pool A and B) gets relegated to Group 2, I believe, and Australia is actually on 3 points, a point ahead of Russia, so Russia's got quite some catching up to do or else embarrass themselves. It's funny, when you watched the games last year with Iranian women, the atmosphere in the stadium was so much different. They really do add a whole different dimension and a whole lot of passion to the game.
It's really sad that we're stuck with a bunch of narrow-minded dinosaurs with all their religiously driven mental handicaps and oghdeh.
