Honestly, there was less hope that Saman would join Iran and look how that turned out for us.
Have faith y'all, I really saw no affiliation of Australia over Iranian national team so far by Daniel.
Look at his last RT - https://twitter.com/adampeacock3/sta...21485730611200

There is more coverage on him than Saman before joining Iran
He's already dubbed as Iranian Ronaldinho: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bf1XPy4n...y=tarafdari.ir

"Arzani set to miss out on Socceroos breakthrough
The clamour for Bert van Marwijk to hand an Australia call-up to Daniel Arzani may have fallen on deaf ears - with the teenage sensation not included in an initial 41-man pool of players under consideration for this month’s friendlies against Norway and Colombia."

After watching the video I must say the father named their children very sefid names. He calls himself John apparently lol? Don’t know how to feel about this, especially the last sentence “make Australian soccer proud”.
However, “making Australia soccer proud” is a different story.Team Meli Iran

I mean its not a huge deal but I wouldnt give my kids non iranian names
even the kids of my cousins who married white guys have iranian names!!
for me its a matter of trying too hard to blend in, my parents gave us persian names that are easy to pronounce.
as long as the people named ben and danny can speak farsi its all cool with me, otherwise it just proves my previous point.
Ive met too many iranians with white names who cant speak a sentence of farsi and dont know shit about iran.AKP Parti, Turkiye - Haj Bernie Sandersoglu

its pretty much the same situation as it was with Samaan ...
its obvious that he was primarily using iran connection in order to expedite his Aussie call up mainly for this upcoming WC ..!
after the recent snub from the extended list of Aussie, Im fairly sure, he now seems more primed and hopeful for CQ to give him a call up, so he can accept gladly and then have a very legit excuse/reasoning for his TM choice in the Aussie Media afterwards..!!
the only problem is that similar to Sadeghian and/or Torabi, or even Massoud he aint purticularly a CQ type of a preferred sorta of footballer.!!
like the above, too small/ lightweight, defensively weak/suspect and add to that way too young and internationally Raw ..!
if he does get a call up from Carlos (which i very much hope so soon..!) it certainly be primarily for beating Aussies to the punch and snatching him away with real intent of using after the WC and beyond..!!
also fairly certain if he was to be called up by CQ for an upcoming WC camp, it will be made very clear to him that the invitee doesn't mean any sorta promise to be included in the WC traveling squad but only a chance to make case for himself as such..!!
he has to really want it before CQ extends him an official invite, that is for sure..!

Daniel liked this tweet - just a bit over a month ago ... we were also getting feelers from Saman Ghoddos on social media before his decision was announced - and it was leaning towards Iran from the start. This tweet talks about him being in the world cup and participating with Iran and playing alongside Karim Ansarifardt. I have no idea how people in this thread thought he was going to for sure pick Australia.
Seems he is open, so far.

We have beautiful names in Iran, but iranians suffer from inferiority complex in front of white people, using the easy/lazy route for their children.
