Melbourne City awarded Daniel with the 'Supporters’ player of the year Award':
MELBOURNE CITY:
Despite qualifying for the finals, City were the first side to hold their awards night – doing so on 16 April.
Dutch import Bart Schenkeveld was rewarded for a strong campaign as he nabbed the top honour while young gun Daniel Arzani scooped the Supporters Player of the Year award despite playing just 16 matches.

Daniel is also nominated for the 'NAB Young Footballer of the Year Award':
"NAB Young footballer of the year nominee: Daniel Arzani
STORY OF THE SEASON
Arzani had to bide his time in 2017/18; it wasn’t until round 11 that he was given his first action of the season, off the bench in the 3-1 loss to Sydney FC.
But from the moment he came on and changed the round 13 game against Wellington two days after his 19th birthday, the exciting young attacker has thrust himself front and centre of the football public’s consciousness.
He’s started every game since and has quickly become a favourite with City’s supporters, creating and scoring goals and giving opposition defenders nightmares with his quick feet and dazzling speed.
The calls have even come for the former age-group international to be immediately handed a full Caltex Socceroos call-up and his rare talent looks set to propel him to the very top of our game.
BY THE NUMBERS
Arzani leads the Hyundai A-League in successful dribbles, with his 89 runs with ball at feet 22 more than any other player in the competition and more than three times as many as any of his team-mates.
He also provided more assists than any other under-23 player in the Hyundai A-League regular season.
Arzani created 23 chances for his team-mates in 2017/18 and passed at 78% accuracy, with 75% of his passes in the opposition half finding a team-mate.
WHY HE SHOULD WIN
Arzani is the most exciting Australian attacker to emerge in the Hyundai A-League for quite some time.
He has quickly gone from being a squad player at Melbourne City to one of the first names Warren Joyce writes down in the starting side each week.
Higher honours will certainly follow and it seems inevitable a clutch of overseas clubs will soon be clamouring for the signature of this talented teen."

Arzani’s teammate, Luke Brattan is again on the bandwagon, commenting “[emoji1130][emoji1130][emoji1130]” in Arzani latest post.
Even some of Arzani’s friends, like Emily Catalano are commenting “Iran[emoji1430][emoji1430]”. It’s actually kinda funny [emoji1]
By the way, Arzani’s “lady friend” looks like this:

HUGE risk if we don't put him in as 23rd man in our squad. He will say yes now, Australia will get him for Asia Cup 2019.
---------------
Manchester City monitoring Daniel Arzani
Tasnim – MELBOURNE, English Premier League winner Manchester City has shown interest in signing Iranian Daniel Arzani but Melbourne City believes its club is the right place for the youngster to flourish.
With Manchester City, five other clubs under the group’s umbrella and various loan partnerships open to Arzani, theworldgame.sbs.com.au reported.
“It’s safe to assume he’ll be here next year. We have no intention of selling,” Melbourne City Football Group executive Brian Marwood said.
“What he needs is games. He needs games in a competitive environment. Like many young players that have left Australia, they’ve gone and they’ve very quickly come back,” he added.
“Right now, it’s going to be incredibly unhelpful for him if he goes somewhere and doesn’t play. To stay here and get those games under his belt, to continue to learn in a good environment, I genuinely believe that is the right thing for him,” Marwood said.

So many older members are thinking one-dimensionally when it comes to Arzani. He is not only being monitored by City, but is a hot prospect for them in the next year. He will sign with Man City!!
Yet people don't think he should get called up because he's "weak" or not in "physical shape"? LOL good one
Put Arzani on either Persepolis or Esteghlal and he'd tear it up as well. His technical dribbling is better than 99% of the IPL, no argument. And hes only 19!!
Luckily Carlos Queiroz knows more than all of us and he will make the right choice

Honestly not that impressed with this little boy. Aussies can take him and we will dominate him as our defenders take him the f out.
If he was doing that in a top 10 european club, then I would take his side. ffs look at them in ACL, only two aus teams qualified and were utter shit in the group stages.
