tbh trabzonspor are better than austria wien. And Delfi (the most similar iranian player to arzani atm, except much more of a killer and younger too), is supposedly close to besiktas, a team on a different level to wien

Trabzon is not much better than Wien.
            Besiktas is an other level!

The good thing about Wien ist that if he does impress he can go to Salzburg and from Salzburg its just one step to Leipzig. Many players did it like this. F.e. Sabitzer. Wien - Salzburg - Leipzig

they'll have a livewire on their hands. would profit from developing at a big club with the kind of players they have instead of staying in Australia.

I thought he might go to Inter.

It looks like he is going to be signed by Man City and loaned to Celtics. What luck!

Daniel Arzani will officially become a Manchester City player this weekend, before heading to Glasgow early next week to begin a two-season loan with Scottish giants Celtic.

                      Just signed for Manchester City.

Congratulations to him, his family, and to all Australian fans - and good luck to him in the future.
We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

Normally as an Australian player in the A League era you seem to be unable to get onto the European radar until your 20's. Arzani has great potential so hopefully he gets a good slice of action for Celtic this year.

He will likely return to Australia with the shortest Celtic career in history...

ACL injury. He will never be the same unfortunately.

if he chose to play for iran, man city would have never signed him, which means that he wouldnt have been loaned to celtic, which means that he wouldn't have been injured

jokes aside, it sucks to see a player go down to injury, especially ACL. even though it heals after 6-12 months his career will be greatly effected as he won't be able to maneuver that well anymore. bummer

It's a shame an Iranian got injured. It's also a shame that an Iranian thought he was Australian.
