They don't have anything to do after this tournament, unlike Iran, Japan and Australia. So China is all focused on this tournament.

Yeah sorry, I just mean it's not related to our Olympics qualification, as far as I understand

The points gained from this tournament are as follows:

1st place - 30 ranking points
2nd place - 26 ranking points
3rd place - 22 ranking points
4th place - 18 ranking points
5th place - 14 ranking points
etc...

It's not as much as World League or any other World tournaments, but they're sure worth it when you reach the top 3, which Iran's B team did. I can't be any more proud.

^^it is hard enough to get points in major tournaments like the World League and the World Cup. so we can make up the difference with FULL points in Asia tournament and this will help us for the future seeds in the up coming tournaments.

as much as i hate FIVB or FIFA ranking system, but these are the rules and we need to maximize our pts for future tournaments
