    One of the most impresseive Iranian female athlete performances ever. She won every one of the best in the world on here way to gold!

    dont forget iran has not won a female medal in olympics but Kimia will have a great chance to do so!

    IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

        She is just great, just for you guys to know she broke so many records so far

        She is the first female athlete from Iran to win a gold in a World Age Group Championship in "an Olympic Sport"
        She is the first female athlete from Iran to win medal in Youth Olympics (she won gold in Nanjing)
        She is the first female athlete from Iran to win a medal in World Senior Championship an "Olympic event" (she won bronze in 2015 WCH)

        she has a very good chance for medal in Rio but first she has to qualify, in this sport of Taekwondo. qualification is sometimes harder than winning medal at the Games.

            no almost impossible, she is currently 42nd !! and only and only top 6 will make it to Rio.

            first since they use August Ranking she is not even qualified to compete for the next GP ! (only top 32 advance) she can participate only if 10 athletes withdraw ! and beside that even if she wins next two GPs, she still 99% won't make it top 8 , (only top 8 can participate in final GP)

            by saying that, there is still one more chance left for her, Asian Qualifiers, but that's just one tournament and only top 2 qualify , one mistake, one defeat and you are done. still I'm optimistic she will qualify from Asian qualifiers without so much problem , even though nothing is guaranteed.
