Wow lot of strange results this match day. Honestly its the worst time u could have international break. Everyone is getting used to their club team and gearing up for the new yr and here comes the break and they gotta switch up to NT mode. So its obvious a lot of teams dont have chemistry. They need to push these back to oct and nov.

The veteran players like Van Persie and Robben are aging, they can't lead the team anymore also because they are so injury prone. The problem is that the team relies too much on these players, without Robben Netherlands is just an average side (sorry to say it) if you look at the recent results. Another issue is that the Eredivisie is getting considerably weaker, and you know that a league is a good reflection of a national team's strength.

It's still so strange how things can be so different after 1 year.

But the Netherlands have been relying on their big three of robben, sneijder and van persie for a while now, ever since 2006 i remember and did well with them up until now. seems like their going to struggle when these guys hang up their boots because there's not too many dutch talents coming through, I can only think of depay and even he hasn't proved much yet!
