that was painful to watch. We're still good in Asia but nowhere near pro level. Our passing and game IQ is not good and we dont have any big guys. Not sure if our basketball will have a future after hamed and samad retire. Kazemi will be there but we'll need someone from the youth ranks to come up soon otherwise we might not even dominate Asia anymore.

Ooh btw, I read each team can use ONE naturalized player, how are the filthy qataris coping with this?

Japan have done their homework to study out team. If the other teams haven't prepared like that, we should wipe them out.

European discipline at its best: Iran fighting like they're behind.

What an excellent way to start off our olympic qualifying campaign. Pretty much busted Japan aside!

But we still have to be very careful of the big dogs China.

                        And wow Palestine...

What scares me is that TM has easy round robin games. I fear they get complacent and take their opponents lightly in the elimination round.
That usually happens at least once each tournament with TM.
In Asia, Iran is good enough to win 9/10 games if everyone is playing at the level they're usually at. All it takes though is for one of these smaller teams like South Korea or Lebanon or Philippines to be hot on 3 pointers one day and then we're in trouble.

Regardless, GO TM GO! Good win today.

today, they fought like they were behind and their lifes depended on it, even though they had a comfortable lead. lets hope this means they will take every game very serious.
