The quarter-final will be against South Korea (they lost to Qatar today). Korea took the Gold medal from us at the Asian Games last year, so it's time for payback.

Then we will face China in semi-finals, and Philippines in the Final.

It doesn't matter. If we are champions, we have to beat them all.

Arsalan's preseason training camp in the NBA starts tomorrow so he couldn't be with this team but for the future, our head of federation, Mahmoud Mashhoon needs to put his ego aside and get Arsalan's sarbazi taken care of so he could play for NT. both Bauerman and Arsalan want this to happen. So make it happen!

we will play Jordan if they beat Lebanon tomorrow. but if Lebanon wins, yes we have to beat Korea in quarterfinal.

if China beat Qatar, Korea beat Kazakhstan and Jordan beat Lebanon, all of them most possible scenario. in this case QAT. KOR and JOR wil be tied on points and KOR will be 2nd, QAT 3rd and JOR 4th

Iran need to clean up their turnovers. If they keep playing with the amount of turnovers we hadin every game against the minnows china Korea and Philippines can hurt us.

These guys are full of turnovers man. They play really sloppy at times and rush their passes. They get used to weak teams, but good teams pick up on it and learn how to read them.

Good effort, but there's a whole heap of things they need to work on. What I found disconcerting to some extent was lack of penetration, even against minnows like Palestine. Don't know if this was an issue during the 1st and 2nd quarters, as I wasn't able to watch.

                          Iran beat Palestine 94-48.

Easy game but mostly negatives for me:
-Haddadi is turning over way too many balls. He is quadruple teamed at times. Those are the moments we need to rely on perimeter play. Not when the middle is left wide open.
                          I hope they readjust.
-Ironically, still way too much perimeter play.
                          -Allow too many easy shots.
                          -Still sloppy.

We're probably playing Korea in the QF. Believe me when I say they will be our biggest challenge. They play a quick smart type of basketball specifically made to counter TM.

If my (bad) memory serves me, Iran's gameplan in previous years seemed more quick and clinical on the attack, cleaner passing and fewer turnovers. Maybe it was just me but it just seemed way less sloppier. Can anyone comment on this or correct me if I'm wrong. I forgot what happened at the Incheon finals as well, I just remember losing by a narrow margin to the hosts.

our loss to Philippines could not have come at a worse time, the other bracket is so much easier to reach the finals. this team is not cut to play top teams. as others have said we are still light years away from a clean basketball game. very sloppy, this team lacks leadership. HH with 4 years of NBA should be the player stepping up in the leadership department, but he is becoming more useless than ever.
