^^I remember when he first signed with the Memphis Grizzlies the GM of the team said in one interview "that you can't teach him height" meaning that he is already has a very good height for NBA players and the team only has to teach him the game. unfortunately this lazy bum plus his bad choice of picking an agent, he was never able to capitalize on his "god given size". up until today he is just enjoying the fruits of his "height", but his "skills"IRI = FAILED

I do believe HH has been way below his own standards so far in this tournament.
But don't ever forget that if we are talking about TM basketball and the Olympics year in and year out it is beacause we have Haddadi and others don't.
The real competition begins on thursday and we probably will have the toughest possible road to the gold having to face Korea, China and the Philipines in that exact order. Hope our boys play relaxed and without stress and also our big 3 of HH, Samad and Kamrani play at the level they are supposed to.

Iran's path to championship
S. Korea (one of the the 4 Asian power houses and 2014 Asian Games champion)
China (the host and all time best Asian team)
Philippines (one of the recent 4 Asian power houses)
The path for Phil
Lebanon (used to be a power house in Asia)
Qatar (unpredictable with tons of foreign players they may buy each year)
China/Iran
The path for China (considering they are powerful and are the host)
India (a middle weight Asian team)
Iran/South Korea (their toughest challenge = the early final)
Philippines (One of the recent 4 Asian power houses)
The path for S.Korea
Iran (Possibly their hardest match)
China (the host and Asian power house)
Phil (easiest match compare to the other two)
Chance for reaching final among this 4 Asian power house
1. Phil a very high chance
2. China a medium chance (they have to pass Iran)
3. Iran a medium chance (we have to pass the host China)
4. S.Korea a tiny chance (they need to pass Iran and China)
With that single win against us Phils guaranteed their place in final while we sent ourselves down a very rough path.
I am not sure with this team a match against China be easy for us. If we flop against Philippines there is something wrong. We are not dominating the game like the past and each one of China, S.Korea or Phil can beat us now. I am most worried about the match vs China (from their skills, referee calls, our team motivation, turnovers, lack of energy and host favoritism)

Not everyone is disciplined enough to resist all of this.

HH with 4 years of NBA should be the player stepping up in the leadership department, but he is becoming more useless than ever.
The loss was at a bad time, but let's be fair. It could have been much worse. If the loss had happened at the QF stage, that would have been much worse.
Now, at least TM knows they can't be too goshad.

even if he was middle class kid, still coming to US itself, being in NBA environment and the few mil he got was probably too much for him to handle
