The possibility of Iran making it through those qualifications is identical to Iran's football team making it to world cup quarter final. They will have to play top European/African/American teams and only the first team will make it to the Olympics. Our only slim chance would be to get those 3 half Iranians/Iranian borns who play in US leagues to play for Iran.

Because world championships in Volley/Basketball/Handball are played with 24 teams. While their corresponding competitions in Olympics only has 12 teams. So only 1/12 is from Asia. Olympics is only for the best of the best!

It is all about Sponsorships man. Same reason Japan hosts every damn Volleyball competition and Qatar hosts the handball ones recently. World isn't fair.

Cleaning up my closet and I am looking at the three game worn jersies I have and the middle one could have saved us today. With the federation acting the way they are, this might be the last time he ever wore this jersey for us. We need a change at the top.
