Ya'll need to calm down, the first four out of 6 qualify to the next round. Seeing as in our group is Cuba and Egypt, we will most likely qualify to the next round. That is where our real test will begin, probably against Italy or Brazil. There are no easy teams.

Advancement from group stage is based on (in order): 1) Matches won; 2) Points; 3) Set ratio; 4) Setpoint ratio; 5) Head-to-head record.

For the second criteria (points), three points are awarded for a 3–0 or 3–1 win, two points for a 3–2 win, one point for a 2–3 loss and 0 points for a 1–3 or 0–3 loss.
