She lost 8-7. She worked hard, but didn't have it in her.

She is still young, next olympics it will be a gold for her!

Great job by Kimia. She's 18. She'll be back and not injured next time hopefully. The Spanish girl was just more experienced.

                  Kimia out too.

Who could have imagined Iran's olympic's in Rio would be this disastrous?

I'm not too angry about this one, she gave it her all and she almost crawled all the way back.

                    The refs were spot on.

Shes 18, she'll be back stronger than ever. Lets hope the spanish girl makes the final so she gets her chance at bronze.

Gomez may make it far though and that might give Kimia a repechage chance.

What's shameful is that both the head kicks that Kimia had - she had to appeal them so it went to the judges to score them. It was not detected.

At the end, did two judges say it was a headkick that would have given her the win?

yes i think the refs were arguing with each other with that last kick. but video showed clear it was no connection.

Kimia did really good and she took 7 strong points against the nr2 in the world. but the spanish got 2 insane 3pointers they were world class kicks. it was 50/50 dame kamia garm she cried her hearts out on the mat
