I don't understand why Klopp didn't buy any good centre backs in January. Does he really think he can win games with what we currently have? If so, then he is very delusional.

"I hope people will look back in the future and talk of the young players as my legacy"
After seeing this quote from Van Gaal, it really blew my mind, in a positive way. I just realized that Van Gaal's legacy will be unbelievably massive, even though he's not going to win anything for Man Utd.
HE HAS DONE WHAT FERGIE SHOULD HAVE DONE.
We all know (well you could argue against it if you like) that Ferguson left a massive hole to Man Utd when he left. I know they were champions, but let's be real. He left Fletcher, Carrick, Van Persie (we all know he had 1 or 2 years left), Vidic, Ferdinand etc. He didn't fill the gap of Scholes either.
I believe what Van Gaal has done, is one of the most unselfish moves you can make. He has given A PLATFORM on a silver platter for the next manager to succeed.
Martial, Shaw, Borthwick-Jackson, Depay (let's be real, it's his 1st season). Lingard, Pereira, McNair to name a few more. He has given 19 under 23 players a chance after his arrival.
"It is very important, but I have taken a risk in minimising my squad to accommodate young players"
"It is always good that you educate your own players, in the culture of Manchester United and also the playing style of Manchester United,"
I do agree that his playing style hasn't been up to standard. But I do believe that in a long run he's done absolutely magnificent job.
I just hope personally that José Mourinho won't join Man Utd for Van Gaal's sake. He'd probably put Borthwick on loan & bring Essien to the left back position.
