He finally came on with 2:40 left at the end of the game. Its not like you can show much during that time but he did his job. Got 1.5 rebs (meaning his 2nd him and another dude grabbed it same time) and he played defense well. Set up screens on offense well. Hopefully next game he'll play more.

On a bright note the guy they like, patterson, pretty much sucked all game lol

Less game time means that they are either happy with him so don't need to see much of him or they have written him off, not believing he is good enough. Form his stats sounds like they are pretty happy with him and don't need to see much more of him.

        That's me being positive

I feel like our coach has high expectations for him because they've given him DeMarre Carroll's number 5 jersey. DeMarre was one of our starters and key players last season and was just traded to the Toronto rapters. I'll be following him closely here and will definitely be going to his games if he gets min!

Getting drafted ruined his chances of playing in the NBA... As he gets older he is going to have a harder time convincing an NBA team to give him a chance.

                bingo!! That's it.
I picked him up from the airport yesterday and once we got home the phone rings. It was the rockets GM. He called literally minutes after the announcement! He kept trying to convince him to play for their d league with a chance to play for their actual team but he politely declined. His agent called half an hour later and said that the cavs, Pacers and spurs all called with the same proposition but he told him no. He is now looking to see if there is anything available overseas. Will let you know as soon as I hear something.
By the way I did make a comment here when he was cut but it's not here anymore. I think a mod must have deleted it for some reason!

They were changing the servers on Friday so the last set of comments on the old servers were deleted by mistake.

Anyway, this is really sad news. We were hoping he would join NBA younger than Haddadi but he will already be 26 next year.

problem with d league is its very low salary, they travel by bus and its kind of a depressing situation. players get forgotten once they go there.

D-league can be good or it can ruin your life if you stay there too long instead of playing overseas....if he was 22, d-league would make sense but now, he needs to earn money and im sure that he can get a good contract overseas, in europe less money than in china but if he wants to play at the top level, europe would make sense

I agree with everything aside the bold. if you stand out in the D league you will get a fair shot at making a summer league or a pre season squad.....look at how many stand oput d league players the last few years have gotten their shots.....shannon brown, brandon bass, steve novak, aaron brooks, marcin gortat, gerald green.....the list goes on.

take kyle anderson for example.....he was a first round pick and played essentially the entire season last year in the d league and was the MVP. now he is about to be in arguably the best team in the league's rotation. That is a prime example IMO that if you work hard and prove yourself, youll get noticed. definitely more than europe at least IMO. Arsalan is making a very big mistake here, I'm disappointed.
