This is a little different cuz the coach and GM have know about AK for yrs. unlike the coaches of sixers and hawks

Good thing about the NBA is that if he manages to have one serviceable year, he will be set for the rest of his career unless he busts seriously after. Jeremy Lin didn't even have to have one good year and people are still after his services.

yea just 1 yr in NBA and he can probably play anywhere for rest of his life getting 1M or more.

im confident he will succeed if they give him his chances. He's one of the very few NBA players that can guard all 5 positions if he really had to, if not he can certainly do 4 at least.

I mostly meant he could stay in the NBA for a few years if he manages to do well during the course of a season, especially in the playoffs. Regarding his defensive versatility, I think he is suited to defend the 3, undersized 4's and bigger 2's well, expecting more than that is just too much. But if I was the coach, I'd put him on the better SF's and 2nd unit PF's for best results, let's not forget that he is still untested in the NBA.

he should be playing today. There are 3 games left so he will definitely get playing time today.

He played all of last quarter. It kinda sucked that it was the 2nd unit so the team wasnt doing good but AK was all over the place. He got called for 5 fouls which half were wrong or very soft, even commentators admitted. But overall good stats too 2 pts, 6 rebs, 1 steal, no turn overs

as opposed to his competition joshua smith, he had more fouls, turn overs and less rebounds, so not bad for 1st game just joining the team.
