Arsalan Kazemi @ Atlanta Hawks Thread !

sorry for multiple threads on him but no one changed the title of the other one and its misleading...


UPDATES;

Kazemi was released by 76ers and now has joined Atlanta Hawks for preseason. He is part of the roster of 20 players. 14 of these players have contracts, the other 6 (including Arsalan) are fighting for the last spot. We will find out by end of preseason (end of october) if he will get a guaranteed contract or not.

I was born and raised in Atlanta and I've always been a Hawks fan! I can't believe Kazemi joined our team I regularly go to the games and really hope he can break into the first team! I feel like our coach has high expectations for him because they've given him DeMarre Carroll's number 5 jersey. DeMarre was one of our starters and key players last season and was just traded to the Toronto rapters. I'll be following him closely here and will definitely be going to his games if he gets min!

Message him on his Facebook fan page or Instagram. He is very outgoing and loves to meet his fans. I also know for a fact that he bored out of his mind now! 😀maybe you Guys can meet and go for lunch/dinner or something. I just know tomorrow they gave suite seats to the Falcons Texans (Go Texans!) game so he might be busy but if you have the time and like to meet him just shoot him a msg! 😉

Today's open practice. Played a 30 minute game. He played for 7 minutes had 2 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals both against Paul milsap

Here is the boxscore from yesterday's open practice:

He played less than any player on the roster, had 4 rebounds in less than 7 minutes which is great, had 2 TO's which is a bad sign and 1 steal.

The good thing is the other 5 players which are competing for that final roster spot didn't have eye popping stats either, maybe Lamar Patterson though his stats aren't any better than average.

Not bad for first game. Im sure next games he'll get a lot more min. He has 7 games to show himself.

So Kazemi is a part of the Hawks' 20 man roster. Don't NBA squads have 12 players? What was that talk about him fighting for one last spot in the 15 man roster? I want to watch him play when the Hawks come to the Staples Center.
