i still dont understand the sarbazi issues with Athletes in Iran. Cant people just buy this off ?
AK has a shot to join a summer league again this summer but he HAS to show himself really good this time and take shots, be more aggressive and offensive. Teams are open to players coming and trying out but to get picked by a team you need to stand out more than ever now. He will be 25/26 so teams will be hesitant to pick him up if he doesnt show his offensive game.
BUT there is another issue too.... NBA is not guaranteed, so if by summer a big contract from china or elsewhere comes for him then he will take that contract instead of hoping for NBA. Because truth is he has bills to pay like rest of us and cant wait around til september for an NBA team to give him a contract.
He still has some chances, but really needs to start shooting or doing something offensively otherwise he wont get noticed no matter how many rebs, steals or great defense he displays.

Dumb on Iran to waste their best talent like this. Dumb on Arsalan to go back to Iran. I have hard time believing he didn't have any offers from China.
Poor guy, I hope he has some interest from NBA teams this summer and is allowed to leave Iran.
BTW, I don't know if you guys are aware but Haddadi is shitting on the Chinese basketball league. The guy is putting up monster numbers right now. It's a shame the NBA is going small ball because Hamed should be at least back-up somewhere in the NBA. Michael Beasly left the CBA and signed with the Rockets right after his team got eliminated, so there might be a chance for Hamed, but very unlikely.Last edited by The; 03-17-2016, 06:59 AM.

Haddadi could play in NBA but unfortunately i dont think he's hungry enough and he didnt bother to learn the language. Most of his problems in NBA steamed from communication. He couldnt understand some plays or things he needs to do on the court. So the coaches didnt have confidence in him.

Haddadi had 3 problems
1- bad agent
2- partied way too much. Got divorced the first year he was in the states. Fully embraced the NBA lifestyle in that sense.
3- too goshad to put in extra hard work. If you're foreign and in the NBA you're expected to practice more and have really good basketball IQ.
