I rate this one even higher, they just did the impossible!!
    Visca El Barca!!!
The referee just did the impossible : giving two litigious penalties to Barça (kudos to Suarez diving talents btw), not giving two penalties to PSG (even Mascherano admitted he did the fault after the game at 3/1, the guy is even proud to qualify with cheating!) not giving a red card to Barça, 3min of extra time in the first half, 5min of extra time (!) in the second half (with Barça scoring the 6th at 94min40!!). Ben williams wasn't that bad after all.

Yes PSG was not good at all, specially mentally. Shameful performance. Even with that we managed to score one, hit the bar one, miss two 1 vs 1 (one of them was anhilited by the famous Mascherano tackle), hit Pique hand in the penalty box. Barça wasn't that good except their intense pressing.

You will say we didn't deserve to go through with such weak perfomance. I can hear that. But I answer Barça was also very bad in the first leg, losing 4/0 fair and square without any divine help. All the world was mocking them. The gap between both team is never 5/0 or 6/1 in favour of Barça to be able to return the situation in normal conditions. We were eliminated only by one goal after both leg, and the difference was made by the referee, Period.

Anyway, UEFA and plastic fans around the world are happy : they got their buzz with a "magic" and "incredible" scenario, they got their favourite Bayern, Real and UEFAlona through. Let's the show go on.

100% agree with you, but after beating Barca 4-0, PSG should have never put themselves in a situation where the ref could f-ck them over. Although I have to admit the first 2 goals were extremely bad luck, the bad luck only came to happen because of the way PAST was playing.

First of all, the first penalty awarded to Barcelona was totally legit. The PSG player prevented Neymar from entering the penalty box by throwing his body there, so that is a foul. If he didn't, Neymar would most likely score or assist his teammate.

Secondly, Marquinhos pulled Suarez with his hand when the ball was getting into the penalty box. Any player knows that MINIMAL contact in the penalty box is enough to give away a penalty. And Suarez just benefited from that rule. Other than that the referee was just bad in general with favoring calls for both sides.

PSG deservingly lost the game because they were cowards going into this game and defending for 90 minutes long. It was a tactical fail from the coach Emery.

No, the PSG defender fell first, Neymar just rushed to collapse with the fallen guy and start his comedia dell arte. The referee didn't even give the penalty first. It was the 5th referee that was very far from the action (and who generally stay silent) that gave it under the pressure of Barcelona players and public.

And if you really think Barcelona two PK were legit, what about the two penalties PSG should have had? Even Mascherano admits it after the game.

About Neymar, what about the disgusting foult on Marquinhos? The referee just gave a free pass for Barcelona from the start. And the game lasted 98 minutes long. Can you explain why 3min extra time in first half and 5min in the second half?

If you want to justify it just ask yourself. If that was cavan I who fell instead of Suarez would the ref had called a pk? No chance I've seen barca weasel their way past milan juve and others many times so you can't accuse me of being a butt hurt Madrid fan but reality is that uefa favours barca hard and it's obvious to anyone who isn't a barca fan

Here you can find a petition made by spanish people to replay the barcelona/psg match, with the long list of referee mistakes :https://www.change.org/p/uefa-champi...ter_responsive

After 2 days, already 80 000 people signed the petition lol http://metro.co.uk/2017/03/12/fan-st...layed-6504827/ and persian mafia seems to be quite active

Barca got favored by refs big time. PSG did screw themselves however, but they didnt deserve that last pk....even the first one was questionable. As a ref, if you give a 50/50 call at the beginning at least let the last one slide. Especially how it had a huge impact on the game.

This wasnt deserved because its not like Barca played great, they were actually shit. PSG let them back in the game so to label this as the greatest come back isnt fair.

by the way, to those who talk about the Liverpool comeback in 2005, even that was questionable. First goal was an offside which got waived and the pk was also questionable because it was on the line. But still that didnt excuse Milan from losing that game.

Leicester City against all the odds yet again.

I don't think we'll ever reach the heights of that famous night in Istanbul.

It is the final of the UCL (not round of 16), it was against the most dominant side at that time (PSG aren't that dominant), and three consecutive goals were score to take it to penalties (Milan was way stronger defensively than PSG).

It was also the first time in 20 years that Liverpool reached the final of a champions league (Barca have made the round of 16 for that past 15 years).

The Liverpool comeback was on another level.

True but that Milan team wasnt that dominant. All their players were at the end of their careers, with exception of Kaka.

Every team will pray to face Leicester in the next round. Hopefully it will be Bayern!

Real will get Monaco or Leicester while Barca has to deal with top teams as always. It's already decided by Perez.
