The list was bullshit. Amir was never going to be able to fight for a different promotion while under contract with the UFC. He is still under contract with the UFC as they have not released him. Amir just released the letter from USADA clearing him to fight in the UFC. He passed his drug tests and is ready to go. UFC just needs to announce his opponent.
So he's terminated with UFC due to sanctions. I think he shouldn't wait around and fight it. He should try to join ONE FC and kick ass. He will be well paid there as well. Only issue is that ONE FC is a Singaporean based organisation and Rizin is a Japanese based organisation who are following the Iranian embargo and sanctions, I wonder if these private organisations would also do the same with Amir.
He would be fine if he was in Olympics, International Organisations that are not for profit such as World Championships, etc but he's past that. Gotta feel sorry for him at this low point of Iran. Hope he can make some quick bucks in Russia and obtain a citizenship.

He can try and join either Fight Nights Global or M-1.
If not, then join New Fighting Generation (Belarus), Eagles Fighting Championship (Moldova), Strike Fighting Championship (Turkey), Legend Fighting League (Turkey) or any promos from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
