I don't know about Dariush specifically, but yes the heavy majority of them would. Why would Mollaei or Firouzja lose several world titles and possible Olympic medal because of a backward ideology of not facing Israel? Why would Kimia Alizadeh, Asemani, Kianzad and other female fighters put themselves in disadvantage for having to wear extra pieces of clothing? If we had a developed, respected country why on earth would they call themselves Assyrian or Kurdish ahead of Iranian, or if they got paid a normal salary they wouldn't have to medal for another country (Azerbaijan) like Beigi and Mehmandoust. I don't recall anyone doing so pre revolution.
The reality is different to our ideal nationalism.

Hence why I originally said not everyone is as willing to wave the flag of IR as you'd like, doesn't make them any less Iranian. But the fallacies you brought up of him "not being Iranian" and stating "they are the ones saying it" were complete bullshit though.

Pannie Kianzad also refuses to walk out with IR's flag and has said time after time the UFC doesn't allow her to walk out with the Shiro Khorshid flag otherwise she would.

You can choose to not support him and I'll continue to support all fighters of Iranian heritage and we'll leave it at that.

Barghi's got a fight on TNT in a couple nights, that's one I'm sure we can all get behind.
