Tons of experience, mostly in Brazil. Was supposed to finally get a UFC fight with Gonzaga but it fell through and he lost his shot. He's old and slow. Decent stand up and wrestling but no where near Amir. He is gigantic and with Rizin loving the freak show expect him to show up juiced to the gills. Like any guy that big he can knock you out with one punch but I don't think he has the technical ability to make Amir react like the did to Cro-Cop. This should be a one sided fight, but anything can happen. If Amir wins convincingly it will be his last fight in Rizin.

Amirkhani is the fucking worst lol. "Mr. Finland" raised the finish flag, then the Kurdistan flag in the weigh ins. Being Iranian is an honor, if you want to deny it go ahead, we won't fight to keep you, and you won't have our support. Same thing goes for Beniel Dariush, and to some degree Mousasi too. All of these guys are the same to some level. It is very strange how the majority of Iranians in the UFC have been like this, (akira corassani was like this too, at least he was born in Sweden though).

Reza you have our full support! He does it correctly, he is proud of his ethnicity and where he was born, alongside the country he calls home. There is nothing wrong with that. Hope he wins tonight, he looks like he is in great shape and has good training partners.

Reza started off well, for his second takedown though he made a mistake after he took Duffy dow. Which Duffy gained control, and threw an elbow that cut Reza badly. After that it was all Duffy for two rounds. Reza couldn't even see through the blood. Showed a lot of heart but not much else to be honest. Not a good performance but he was against a good opponent

We have always been proud of all our people. Balochs, Kurds, Gilaks, Lurs, Mazanderanis, Ossetians, Pashtuns, Pamiris, Persians, Tajiks, Talysh, Wakhis and Yaghnobis among others. Iran was always called IRAN. WE never used the western name of Persia. These idiots don't know shit about history and are just trying to separate themselves from the current western attitude towards Iran. Its pathetic, and in all reality all they are doing is turning their backs on the only fans that will have them.

Big fight week coming up with UFC 210

You can see Gegard in this Embedded episode hang out with Iranians and his buddies even speaks Farsi to him (his wrestling coach is also Iranian and speaks with him in Farsi)

Gegard gets it. He has always embraced his Iranian fans and his ties to Iranian culture. He's a really good guy and I have always enjoyed watching him fight. I really hope he gets a title shot once he beats Weidman.

Wonder if I can still get tickets for that. Yokohama isn't too far from where I am.
