Unfortunately he won't get it. There are still Jaquare, Romero and Rockhold up there. He has to fight one of them. Even after that I'm not sure he'll get a title shot. UFC is all about business and enertainment nowadays. But first he has to beat Weidman which will be his most difficult opponent in his entire career. Eh. I dont agree at all. Weidman is overrated. Mousasi has fought a lot of really good fighters including Hendo, Belfort, Jaquare, King Mo, Hector Lombard, etc... I think Mousasi wins this fight pretty easily. Once this bullshit GSP garbage is out of the way, Romero will get a title shot. disappointing doctor stoppage. Very annoying to watch after such a boring card to have the co-main event stopped because of a referee mistake. Yeah that was a bitch move trying to get Mousasi penalized. He would still have lost for sure if the fight had continued though, since he was down and vulnerable. I liked the doctors decision, you can't act like you're not able to fight anymore when you think you'd win and all of the sudden be in shape..
He has his self to blame for, if he didn't wanted to cheat the ref and doctors would have let the fight continue. However then it would have been a huge disadvantage for Gergard as he had Weidman in all sorts of trouble and all of the sudden he gets to rest and stand up again.
