Amir won by decision. Amir pretty much dominated, especially the 2nd and 3rd rounds. His opponent just used kicks and tried to defend the takedown and ground and pound. Amir was never in any danger. The guy tried to pull a Weidman in the third round which was really annoying.
After the fight they brought in the ACB heavyweight champ to announce a title fight between him and Amir on November 10.
chera shaanse maa Iraniha enghad ***edited***?
reminds me of kaveh rezai with club brugge, finally he was a starter for a champions league team and get injured right before his biggest game (against dortmund and next week Atletico)
I was checking Fight Nights Global official website for the past few weeks, they had his photo for his scheduled fight. Then maybe few days before his scheduled fight they put up a photo of a Russian fighter instead of him and nothing was reported on their website why Ranjbar was replaced.
We don't have any decent mma fighters anymore. I was thinking that a guy like abdevali would fit totally. His skills, aggressiveness would totally do it. He would need a lot of work on the boxing but in his category it's more abt wrestling skills than striking.
Well Aliakbari is still pretty young. He needs a lot of work on his standup, but I think he still has the time to do so.
Look at DC for example, started out around his age and has a pretty good standup game as well now! Same with Yoel. Obviously probably those guys were more naturally talented, but it's still not too late and he is building a good momentum as well.

Who gives a shit? Fuck that clown.
In other news, rumors swirling about ACB's future. With Vakhaev still champion, no one knows if there will be another event for Aliakbari to challenge. His "injury" seems really fishy to me. He never mentions it and there was no further details. I think the fight got pulled and there were some shenanigans at play. I don't think he ever got injured.
