Iranians in MMA

From what I have observed abroad, many Iranian-Azeri would create their own community centre or have their own language program on radio stations or have their Saturday/Weekend language school for their children. However, they do not use the flag of Republic of Azerbaijan, they still consider themselves Iranian and still keep in contact with other Iranians. To a lesser extent most Iranian-Kurds and Iranian-Assyrians do the same except they proudly print ethnic Assyrian flag or Flag of Kurdistan or fly it on a pole on their community centres.
Iranian-Armenians, Iranian-Balochs are a different story and only few of them show love for the motherland "Iran" or "Iranian culture". Some Afghanistani people abroad introduce themselves to foreigners as "Persian", now let's forget about the Persian-speaking Hazara/Tajik/Farsiwan/Nuristani/Pamiri from Afghanistan, what is interesting is that some ethnic Uzbek/ethnic Pashtuns from Afghanistan show more love towards Iran than our Iranian-Armenian/Iranian-Baloch/others.

All this Seperatism wont be solved until we rework on our culture and society! We need to have an iranian renaissance again which emphasises pre-islamic
iranian culture (Achemenid/Parthian/Sassanid Empire- iranian philosophy/religion f.e. Gathas of Zoroaster, Mithraism, etc.).
If we want to compare iranian society to an human psychy, we can say that irans scociety is psychotic, since there is no unit in character/identitification. We have some hardliner
shiite muslims (and government), young people who imitate bad habits of western culture ( alcohol, sex, drugs, introducing english words in our language), we have
all these different groups who try to separate themselves in Azerbaijan, Kordestan, Baluchestan and many more factors.
Bring Shahname into iranian elementary schools and imprint iranian myhtology to the childrens mind, make sure to educate every iranian group within iran about their background and the meaning that they have for the iranian country (f.e. make clear that Kurds, Balochis, Azaris are ethnic iranian, moreover Kurds and Balouchis are just diffrent branches of an iranian family), ensure tolerance for non-iranic people (Turkmen, Arabs, Armenians) and their different culture/religion but make sure that they beside their own tradition take part on iranian culture (nowruz, mehrgan etc.), History/Literature lessons should emphasis Achemenid/Sassanid Empire and link to the connection to the so called islamic golden age ( which was mostly carry out by iranians),
try to keep the language clean from arabic/turkic word as much as possible.
If we fail to create a national culture which include every ethnicity in iran you will always find these type of problems.

The solution you suggested will surely work for the case of ethnic Azeri, Kurd, Baloch, Ahwazi-Arab since their separatist movements were result of foreign interference, all were either recent in 20th century or the case of Balochs started in late Safavid period. It won't work for ethnic Armenians since their hatred of Zoroastrianism and Persian culture goes back to Ancient times. That is why the number of ethnic Armenians who love Iran are very small. Iran and Republic of Azerbaijan (both historical Zoroastrian nations) should strengthen ties and become true brother nations.

Actually most Armenians are Apostolic Christians and the rest are Orthodox, Evangelical, Protestant and others. There are actually Armenian gangs who in addition to burning Mosques and Synagogues, burn Orthodox Churches. In Turkey, Palestine and Georgia, there were many instances of arson attacks on Greek Orthodox and Georgian Orthodox Churches committed by Armenian gangs.

Armenians massacred Zoroastrians and burned to the ground many Atashkadeh in Ancient times. They killed many Persians during the Russo-Persian Wars and late 19th century and early 20th century did the same in Karabakh. Between 10,000-15,000 Iranian Muslims and Jews in Salmas, Urumiyeh and Khuy were massacred by the combined Armenian-Assyrian Armed Forces in 1918. I totally agree with any Armenian who has no love for Iran as a nation or Zoroastrianism or Persian culture, should feel free to return to their ancestral homes in Republic of Turkey or Republic of Armenia or Republic of Azerbaijan.

So ACA went and found this Shelton Graves and signed him up as ACA fighter. I think Aliakbari vs Erokhin (RUS) or Bilostenniy (RUS) or Poberzhets (UKR) or Boser (CAN) or Gormley (USA) would have been good fights.

ACB and Akhmat (WFCA) merged to form ACA. They want the two heavyweight champs to fight to declare a new ACA champ so Aliakbari has to wait. Aliakbari has 2 more fights on his contract. I hope he doesn't sign a new one and forces a title shot for his last fight. That would almost guarantee an offer from the big boys.
