Volleyball - World League 2016

Our team will leave to Brazil for these games. They will play 9 games in the World Volleyball League. This will be a great practice before the Olympics facing big teams.

can some on explain why are we playing bulgaria?they are not in our group

i saw , the group switch and rotate from city to city, top 6 go to the final round in poland

This explains it better than the FIVB website. Still, for a major tournament FIVB has really kicked the can with world league...difficult for a non-vball fan to really make sense of it all. Just play regular bracket mode or group stage mode and keep it simple.

i like this new format, but iran has a fine balance to play its A games and not to tire out its A team while other teams like brazil, usa, arg didnt have this olmpic qualy so they can field their a team

they have to they already submitted their squads, all teams have their full squads. now they can rest a few key players but tnot their entire A team

On the contrary, the World League can be regarded as a bunch of friendly matches prior to Rio.

If their main players aren't going to play here, then how are they going to be prepared for the Olympics? :P

That is true. But I thought they might not want to risk any injury as the schedule is pretty tight and tiring!
