I hate these popular teams like England and France who get away by scoring last minute goals.

    -_-

seems like every other game there is a last min. goal......france, spain, germany, italy, england hungary...all scored in the dying minutes. crazy

what i like is no team is getting hammered. All the games are pretty close which makes it a great competition.

The scorelines have not been representative of the quality of games though. Unlike the 2014 World Cup which was end-to-end offense, the pace of the Euros has felt quite slow so far. Part of this is due to the defensive nature of the many underdog teams and part of it is due to the lack of standout performances by any of the big teams thus far.

If you're a fan of underdogs though, the Euros have been great (and at times, heartbreaking).

That is exactly what I was thinking this morning. Shows how these teams have been mentally trained to fight until the very last second of the match. It takes a lot of concentration and composure to pull off such last minute/second goals!

France very disappointing and unconvincing so far in a rather simple group, Payet won't be here to save the day at the 92nd min every match. Good thing is that no team truly stood out so far and we mostly had close encounters, except Italy that looked honestly quite amazing especially considering their injured players...

Not a fan of Deschamps like lots of French people but we'll see in the upcoming games

World cup was honestly only good in group stages. The knockouts were rather boring and 1-0 scorelines. Except Germany-Brazil which was quite comical and sad at the same time.

So far no team has scored more than 2 goals in a single match.

                            It's been only...

                            0-0
                            1-0
                            1-1
                            2-1
                            2-0

                            ... so far.

Still waiting for the first hammering to happen.

                              ^^^

The scoring drought has been quite surprising this edition of Euro 2016. I noticed many teams pay cautiously and don't seem willing to risk.

What team so far in your opinion has been the most promising? I know it's a bit early, but still fun to know. I am putting my money on Spain

What you say makes somewhat good sense and I tend to agree with parts of what you said. However I also disagree heavily on some other stuff up there.
I am too lazy to point out which ones I agree and which ones I disagree. I leave it up to your imagination.
In sum I agree 68.4% with what you said. No more, not less.
But as a whole I think its almost a good post.

                                So (nearly) well done.
