During the game yesterday there was one scene that an English player got outrun by an Iceland player and the commentators said something along the lines of "this guy (meaning the Iceland player) hasn't played a club game in 2 years. How on earth do you get outrun by him?" Does anyone know which player that was?I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

it's all about confidence & attitude but also getting rid of selfish players (who try to dribble and show their skills to get a nice contract rather than getting the team to win, such as Karimi vs Ireland). We have had the talent but when we face good European teams, we somewhat assume we are going to lose even before the game starts. For example if you go back and look at 98 team, other than very few players the rest weren't even trying to beat Yugoslavia. Or vs Germany in Tehran (which i think we lost 2-0) players seemed happy and eager to exchange jerseys after the game rather than being pissed over the fact that for the first time in many years TM had lost a home game.
we need to change player mentality
