What a laughable tournament so far. No safety, nonsense rules, BS referee mistakes, unimpressive host...

3rd in the group, 5 draws and never took the lead - still semifinal. What a joke...Italy deserves it the most, but I also hope Iceland manages another surprise to save this Euro.

I agree with what you've said aside from the last comment. Gareth Bale has been exceptional for Wales. In fact, he's probably the only superstar to have lived up to expectations.

Too bad only one between Germany and Italy will go to the 4 best as IMO both teams have great potentials to be in the final. But overall I think that Germans will win it all this time.

Keano I gotta disagree with you and PK somewhat, this euro has had some ugly moments for sure both on and off the pitch but personally I liked:

- Iceland - I can't say enough how much I enjoy watching their games. Truly a Cinderella story but I must say listening to commentators and analysts at times can be annoying when they dubbed the match vs England as the biggest upset ever in football. LOL they even went on to compare it to USA-Columbia 94, Algeria-West Germany 1982, Senegal-France 2002, etc. that's just ridiculous. If you look at what Iceland did during qualifiers and the consistency they've had since 2013-14, it's not s surprise to me that they advanced and are playing well. Of course I wouldn't have had my money on them doing what they've done, but it's not as big as a surprise as guys like mcmanaman and others have said. They're too obsessed with the population size and other non-football factors compared to results, players (they have a solid group), staff, etc.

- Hungary - again, a team not many people expected much from and they played some nice football. Nothing that will take your breath away but a pretty inexperienced team on an international level who hadn't been in a major competition in decades and they rose to the occasion. They did great for their circumstances IMO, love seeing these kinds of under dogs do well.

- Italy - on paper one of the weaker teams they've had and yet they're playing arguably the best football we've seen since 06. Conte has done tremendously with this team and they look very solid all around, very surprising for me IMO and I expect them to give Germany a hard time.

It's been disappointing to see the big dogs not playing up to their standard of football but again, for me the surprises and under dogs have made it interesting. If Wales can pull off a big win tomorrow it will add to that, they too are a small team for European standards and can do some damage although they've had a particularly easy route to get to where they are.

OK, portugal haven't won a single game in 90 minutes so far, but they haven't lost either? Their ability to always come back from losing positions is a great mental strength and resilience.

Good on them, they are in the semi finals. I'm not sure if they can win it,but one win away from the final, you never know!

Its been pretty good, but you're not feeling the excitement because there are too many teams and when it was 16 teams, the quality was much higher. The KO round has been exciting, with exception of Portugal games. The group stages sucked because the teams didnt have to try hard to get out of the group. In most cases 3 points and you've made it, which is pretty stupid. If they make the teams work harder for KO round, you will see crazier matches.
