this can only be sign of a bad start.. unbelieveable.. The icing on the cake would be if the next guy looses to the Dane..

Sourain won multiple Gold and Olympic GOld AT 55 kgs! THIS WAS 59 kgs!
Sourian also never does well in his first fights due to heavy weights he reduces before weighting and always needs longer recovery. In London was the same, he nearly lost the first fight.
Finally he is 30 yrs old now.... At this age changing weight is not easy.
Also Sourian lost to this Japanese earlier this year too!
So, I dont call this embarrassing, rather unfortunate!CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php

I have followed wrestling for a while. I have also followed his recent results. I know how many world champions he has won. Don't jump to conclusions about me.
Overall his performances this year have been embarrassing. You don't need to sugar coat this. I love the guy and I am proud of what he has done for Iran but it is time for him to retire now.

Also many dont know, this Japanese already beat Sourian earlier this year, and 59 kgs is a new weight class for Sourian, at the age of 30 it was not easy.
I didnt expect much before the match either, as it was a tough draw.CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php

Its not just about most golds. In my view, there should be a points system 3 pts for gold, 2 for silver and 1 for bronze. Sure we may end up with more gold, but we will finish with a lot less medals.
