Wow Sourian out. So embarassing. Beyond belief. He has regressed so much this year. This guy is the former shell of his self. This is not the guy that is the olympic champion and multiple world champion. I am so fucken pissed now.

I have followed wrestling for a while. I have also followed his recent results. I know how many world champions he has won. Don't jump to conclusions about me.

Overall his performances this year have been embarrassing. You don't need to sugar coat this. I love the guy and I am proud of what he has done for Iran but it is time for him to retire now.

Don't wanna sound pedantic, but if cutting weight has always been a problem for him and if he competed in a higher weight category this time, shouldn't this have worked in his favor?

its not the wrestler who decides whether he goes to olympics or not, its the coach! and in this weight category we have no one better than Sourian.

Also many dont know, this Japanese already beat Sourian earlier this year, and 59 kgs is a new weight class for Sourian, at the age of 30 it was not easy.
I didnt expect much before the match either, as it was a tough draw.

Its not just about most golds. In my view, there should be a points system 3 pts for gold, 2 for silver and 1 for bronze. Sure we may end up with more gold, but we will finish with a lot less medals.
