Really good display by Abdvali, shame he didn't get Gold (or any medal) 4 years ago but he was solid this time and goes home with Bronze.

I'm really sad about Sourian because he is such a talented wrestler, even at age of 30. Abdvali is good but he relies a lot on gamesmanship (always does the blood-in-nose thing etc...) and isn't as classy but still he had lots of gheyrat so well done.

not the greatest day but a bronze today is good for iran, we have our main wrestlers coming up and 2 weightlifiting also coming up and teakwando, hopefully we can pass the 4 gold medal from london

This was a great result as Bacsi is an outstanding wrestler and is world champions at 80kg level! He was also strongly tipped in London but was injured.

bearing in mind abdevalli had to change his weight class from 66 kgs to 75 kgs! He won like a boss!
