I think it was a fair result and the ref was fair. Of course would have loved us to win that gold but eyval he did amazing to get the silver!

Funniest was the naturalised russian dude from Belarus celebrating with the Russian fans in the stands lol

Guys, clearly there is something wrong on the coaching front or psychological front. We have arguably the best TWKDO team in the world and we came by just 1 bronze medal. Shame.

Hope they address this for next Olympics.

I watched the TKD match that he lost. To be fair he wasn't that bad. He lost on Golden point. I didn't see it live and some of the comments here made it seem he got destroyed. Still dissapointing.

Yazdani is the GREATEST wrestler in his weight. He is told many times NOT to attack because he has been injured and has not been fully recovered. He must be careful not to give his leg to opponents. He has a good chance for medal.

Both Iranian wrestlers on Sunday have a chance to win a medal if they work hard and take their matches seriously.

a fit Captain Reza Yazdani is the best in the world in 97 kgs, and an injured Yazdani is still among the best.
We really have to pray he doesn't injure himself, it can happen so fast like it did in London 2012.
Even among US wrestling websites, everyone is wishing Captain Reza Yazdani luck, whole wrestling community see him as the best when 100% fit. Problem is, he is not fit, and carries an old injury. Wis him best of luck!

actually medal wise it has been the second best olympics in Irans history, and one of the best olympics in wrestling, and the best in weightlifting for Iran.
London was really exceptional, but this time was great so far too.

but some ppl here on PFDC make it seem bad, the only frustrating part was Salimi's medal robbery and unfair judgement in Greco vs Norouzi and Abdevalli.
Only dissapointment was Taekwondo, but Ashourzadeh is just 18 and Can come back next olympics.

3 GOLD 1 SILVER 4 BRONZE makes it our 2nd best olympics so far.
dont get too much influenced by some posts here, srsly, its not fair to our sportsmen out there.
