Iranians should support their athletes rather than expect their government (IRI) to support athletes. There should be sponsors with Iran athletes.

Some Iranian athletes have a lot of money such as Ali Daie. All he cares to make more money by securing sole rights to name brands and getting himself on various football teams as a coach without taking any international coaching classes or updating his skills. Coaches are being re-cycled such as Majid Jalali.

Ali Parvin had a store in Haft-e Tir where he sold women's clothing. Couldn't he do what Kia is doing?

This is why Mehdi Mahdavikia is such an inspiration and real pahlevoon of our country. They not only teach football skills to our youth but life skills i.e. psychology

yeah 2 bronze is quite dissapointing. nobody made it to the finals. Well hope our freestyle team can do better.

My balls are full of pride. 3 of the boys (60, 74 and 96 Kgs) are in FS finals!!! Minimum 3 silvers ... hopefully more!!!

yes I was impressed with Biabani, how this kid kept his calm after his penality and khak kard the russian dude which was really tough to move around.
the russian guy is someone to have an eye on too in the future. Fast, really tough to move him, moves his body very well and hardly goes down.
When I see these kids I wish somehow that they would invest more in wrestling instead of football. Those kids have heart even though our GR had only two bronzes they fought til the very last moment, we could easily catch up with russia and Georgia who is becoming slowly but surely a powerhouse.
