Dad is from Iran, mother is from the Philippines. My parents have both worked in Japan for over 20 years, which is why I was born here. I speak Farsi pretty well, but not native level haha since I don't have many opportunities to use it!

When is Captain Tsubasa going to have some Iranian characters for once?
They've had Korean, Saudi, Chinese and obviously Japanese characters. Why no Iranians?

BTW, Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun is still on going. If you like sports anime/manga, I highly recommend Hajime No Ippo.

I would, but the story has gone way too fantasy for me now. In the manga Japan is basically an elite football nation which is far from reality.

Not part of the final squad. He was having personal issues (separated from his wife) and it seemed to really affect his form. He was really bad the past year. He had retired at least one before as well.
