          HE DID IT! The Chinese magically attempted 217kg after failing at 210 twice and got it and kianoush broke the world record and took first with his last attempt. so epic. I am so proud.

            By the way to the people asking about Salimi - he is second favourite after Talakhadze and he has said so himself.

            Talakhadze the young 22 year old georgian has got within 1kg of Salimi's record this year and Salimi himself has only just recovered from a huge injury, although he did well in the recent Fajr cup.

            It just depends how much recovery he has had in the interim since we last saw him. It will be very close, lets hope he has improved enough. In any case he is still only 26 so he does have one more Olympics after this to compete in.

            But like everyone, I really hope he has healed up and can challenge and beat Talakhadze
