Another robbery...this is unfucking unbelievable and it's not the fucking first time we got robbed! Over and over again there have been fishy decisions against us, many scandals and nobody gives a fuck...the IR federation will never fight for Iran and Iranians! Some keep saying referee mistakes are part of the game, it’s all conspiracy and we should accept the loss...yeah go **** yourself. How often do we have to witness these scandals, complain for few days, then keep our heads low until the next robbery??

Horrible injury few months ago, surgery, it was not sure if he even makes it and he still comes and breaks the World record in snatch - fighting for Gold/Silver only! You could feel the pain, his knee was hurting a lot and he didn't have the "smile" while lifting like usually, instead he was suffering but continued nevertheless. And despite getting robbed, he applauds the other dude and shakes hands with one of the opponent staff members who was celebrating behind him. This is gheyrate Irani!!! Vaghan damesh atish!!

To those who claim Salimi had no chance for Gold, don’t underestimate the pressure. Salimi is inured, had to change his technique because of his knee, and all the pressure was on him - which only increased after each attempt. The Georgian dude had nothing to lose and when Salimi got robbed he absolutely had no pressure anymore and could break the World record without stress. But anyway, that's not the point - point is they stole a medal that already was ours!

i know at least one of the "jury" members who overruled the unanimous-accept call by the judges is iraqi. behdad and his coach are also saying his wife is on the panel. apparently they are unfriendly toward iranian weightlifting federation and its administration, so they are postulating that is why this happened.

i think it's safe to say that if behdad salimi was john doe from USA or UK or france or xyz developed nation, they wouldn't have blinked twice.

All of you need to understand that Iranophobia is real and all these sports bodies are politically motivated to fuck Iran and Iranians any chance they get. I remember a couple of years ago, we won several Gold medals at TKD World Championship on day 1, because we were good at a particular style of kick, and as soon we won two Golds, they actually changed the rules in the middle of the championship to ban that kick style and openly stated that it was because "the Iranians were wining all the medals". I kid you not. They changed the fucking rules in the middle of an ongoing championship. It's the same shit in Wrestling , Karate, Weightlifting , as soon as Iranians win a couple of Gold medals, they call the jury, they actually change the rules, because Iran, in their eyes, should be irreverent and not worthy of dominating a sport, it's not good for the commercial interests and image of the sports to be known as the sport dominated by the big bad Iranians.

In sports the same, abdevali was broken and cheated 3 times in his life BUT he kept fighting and got a bronze!
Salimi was injured, but he kept fighting with that 245 kgs till last minute!
