Rumor about Qataris and Lubanov (Persepolis goalkeeper)

Basically 90tv's website is saying the Qataris gave a middle man in Iran 150,000 to convince Lubanov to let a few easy goals in when Uzbekistan plays Qatar. The Qataris were willing to offer Lubanov 1,000,000 Euros.

Iranian officials found out about this but couldn't do anything in time as Lubanov had already left the country.

This wouldn't surprise me considering the garbage goals Qatar got versus Lebanon last qualification round! or the gavbandi they had in the last game of the WC 2014 qualifiers!

Not surprised. Lobanov is also of Russian origin, don't think he gives two craps about Uzbekistan. Plus, he's not their first goalie anyway.

I also remember how our Uzbek members used to say this guy shouldn't even be in the national team and is basically being forced into the team by outside forces.
